Keys, 92, passed away March, 18, 2007 in Mesa, AZ. He was born March 5, 1915 in Naples, OK and came to AZ in 1937. He proudly served our country during WWII and later joined the Union (Operating Engineers Local 428). He retired in 1980 and shortly after moved up north to Young, AZ. He was an avid hunter and with the help of his hound dogs, he caught the 2nd biggest bear in AZ. He also loved riding his mules and horses. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Delores; son, Norman (Chere); grandson Tommy (Susan); granddaughters Dana Morgan (Bill), Joy Glattfelder (Scott) and Kristen; 13 great- grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister Evelyn Sooy (California); and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 on Saturday, March 24 at Messinger Payson Home, 302 W. Aero Drive. Burial services will be at 11:30 at the Young Cemetery. Family members would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for their kindness and assistance.
