All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 28 March 2004 JACQUELYN (JACQUE) KAY LEE Jacquelyn (Jacque) Kay Lee was born July 13, 1949, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to M. T. and Imogene Horne, and went home to heaven on March 26th after a battle with pancreatic cancer and liver disease. She was raised in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and graduated from Lindsay High School in 1967. Jacque attended East Centray University in Ada, Oklahoma, and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She received her master's degree in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma. Jacque was an elementary teacher at West School in Chickasha, Oklahoma, for fourteen years and taught at Beardsley Elementary in Bakersfield since 1991. She was awarded teacher of the year in 1997. Jacque was preceded in death by her father, Morris Horne, in 1995. She is survived by her one and only, Jack M. Lee, Jr., and children: Gentry Stambaught and Katie Barrett, Tyler and Erin Stambaugh of Las Vegas, Michelle and Rob Gentile of Rancho Santa Margarita, Kim and Todd Caldwell of Tustin, Lori and Troy McWhinney of Newport Beach, and Jack M. Lee, III, of Bakersfield. Grandchildren: Sage Stambaugh of Las Vegas, Jake Gentile of Rancho Santa Margarita, T. J. and Cody Caldwell of Tustin, Brett Bakersky and Luke McWhinney of Newport Beach. She is also survived by her mother Imogene Horne of Oklahoma City, sister Clara and Del Smith of Longview, Texas, brother Jay and Joyce Horne of Edmond, Oklahoma, numerous nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Nell Lee of Bakersfield, and sister-in-law Terry Jurgeson, of Reseda, CA. Jacque was a member of the Coronado Baptist Church. She helped start the church with her husband in 1991, and taught Sunday School, sang specials, and won people to Christ until she became ill. She was saved and baptized in 1979 at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She believed that Jesus died and was buried, and came back to life. She was very fortunate to have two long life friends who came into her life. Beth Ann Meyer (Bammy) of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Carolyn Havins of Bakersfield, CA.
