LEBLEU Services for Yvonne T. LeBleu, 93, of Chickasha, Okla., are pending with McRay Funeral Home. Yvonne T. LeBleu was born Sept. 14, 1910, and died on March 17, 2004. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 19 March 2004 YVONNE TRUE LEBLEU Funeral service for Yvonne True LeBleu, age 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2004, in the First Christian Church. Rev. Kim Hayes will officiate, and Rev. Don Gibson will assist. Yvonne True LeBleu was born the daughter of Lewis Edward Royse and Hattie Mae Walters Royse on September 14, 1910, in El Reno, Oklahoma. She died March 17, 2004, in Chickasha. Yvonne was a graduate of El Reno High School in 1929. She married Melvin LeBleu in 1934, and to this union six children were born. They lived in the El Reno area until 1946, when they moved to the Meridian farming community, northwest of Chickasha. After her husband's death in 1955, she remained on the farm until her children graduated from high school, and then she moved into Chickasha in 1965. She worked at the Palace Drug Store, the Big Burger Drive-In, the Gazebo; Liberty Drug, and Roe's Cafe. Yvonne dearly loved to be around people and was always ready to go and enjoy the day's events. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Yvonne was also a member of the Meridian Home Demonstration Club and the Chickasha Round-Up Club. She loved to play her organ and enjoyed all types of music. For the past 5 1/2 years, she had resided at the Christian Care Retirement Village. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Thelma Atkinson, in 1997, her husband Melvin in 1955, and one son, Paul and wife, Geneva Watkins LeBleu , in 1961. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joretta and Howard Paige of Blanchard; son, Jerry LeBleu of Rangely, Colorado; son, Royse LeBleu of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and David Harmon of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Lonnie LeBleu of Rangely, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
