All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 25 April 2005 GENE KENYON LAWSON Gene Kenyon Lawson, born December 22, 1923, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, April 25, 2005, in the Lawton-Fort Sill Veterans' Center, Gene graduated from Chickasha High School in 1942, West Point Military Academy in 1945 and was a graduate of Basic and Advanced Flyung School USAF Atomic Energy School Army Forces Special Weapons School. He received a second degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Gene had been employed by Gulf Oil Company, Oklahoma Corporation Commission and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Anadarko, Oklahoma. He is survived by two children, Lance Kenyon Lawson and Kevin Lawson. Also surviving him are a twin brother, James Kenyon Lawson and wife, Reba, of Houston, Texas, and beloved nephews and niece, Kenyon Lawson, Mesa, Arizona, Greg Beal, Singapore, and Melissa Fraser, Cody, Wyoming.
