Mary Opal was born on August 14, 1914, in Chickasha. She died on Jan. 17, 2005, in Chickasha. ========= Chickasha Express-Star Wednesday, 18 January 2006 Mary Opal Lawson Graveside service for Mary Opal Lawson, age 91, of Chickasha will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2006 in Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Larry Hatfield will officiate. Mary Opal Lawson was born the daughter of Charlie Owens Richardson and Mary Adeline Hartsfield Richardson on August 14, 1914, in Chickasha. She died on Jan. 17, 2006 in Chickasha. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. She died on Jan. 17, 2006 in Chickasha. Opal was raised on the family farm southeast of Chickasha. She married Albert Lawson on December 13, 1952. They moved to Alex in 1962 and later moved to Chickasha. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, one sister, and one son, Joe Robert Burton on August 31, 1972. Survivors include: son & wife: Jeff & Barnia Mae Burton of Ninnekah; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
