All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Ninnekah Cemetery--Ninnekah OK © The Chickasha Express-Star 02 Jun 2004 Eldon Lawson Eldon Wayne Lawson, 65, a resident of Henryetta, died Monday, May 31, 2004, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Services are Friday, June 4, 2004, at the Southern Hills Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma, with Reverend John Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Mr. Lawson was born on Friday, January 27, 1939, to Jerome and Ora (Potts) Lawson in Council Hill, Oklahoma. On December 31, 1965, he married Cleo (Tomlinson) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the owner of Lawson Roofing for 44 years and did many jobs all over the United States following disasters. Mr. Lawson loved to raise horses and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Leitha Eileen Lawson in 1994; and one sister, Arleen Hargus in 1970. Survivors include wife, Cleo of the home; two sons, Rusty Lawson of Wilburton, OK, and Tracy "Bo" Lawson of Okmulgee; one daughter, Cheryle Campbell of Wynnewood, OK; three brothers, Bennie Lawson of Checotah, Ernest Lawson of Hitchita, and Jesse Lawson of Council Hill; four sisters, Eurene Cole of Arkansas, Louis Bartlow of California, Lulavee Storm of Witchita, KS, and Audrey Jacobs of Tulsa; and five grandchildren, Corky Lawson of the home, Nicole Lawson of Chickasha, Braxton Lawson of Okmulgee, Reiley Lawson of Okmulgee, and Russell Moore of Tulsa. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Grady County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/grady/grady.html
