LAMB SERVICES HELD SUN. Funeral services for Robert A. Lamb were held Sunday afternoon Sept. 4 in the First Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. James Wilkerson officiating. Casket bearers were Debs Patterson, Harry Dodson, Donald Brown, Paul DeBoard, W. O. Heavin and J. G. Whitley. Music was furnished by Mrs. Dale Henricks, Mrs. Donald Brown, Mrs. Donald Lair and Mrs. Clarence Warburton who sang "Jesus Saviour Pilot Me," "Beyond the Sunset" and "No Night There," accompanied by Mrs. B. E. Heisler. Robert Alfred Lamb was born January 30, 1898 in Dardanelle, Arkansas and passed away at the Medical Research Clinic in Oklahoma City Friday, September 2, 1960, at the age of 62 years, seven months and two days. He came to Oklahoma with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Lamb, and settled at Union City and later, in 1903, moved to Verden where he had since made his home. He was a substitute rural mail carrier for years. Survivors are two brothers, Marvin Lamb of Mustang and Ernest Lamb of Enid and three sisters, Mrs. Dalton Noel and Mrs. Florence Beene of Verden and Mrs. Roberta Davis of Anadarko and a host of relatives and friends.
