"Hank" Lamprecht Funeral services for Henry G. "Hank" Lamprecht, 86, of Chickasha, will be held Friday, March 1, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jerl Joslin officiating, and Reverend David Woods and Pat Robinson assisting. Henry G. Lamprecht was born January 12, 1916, in Purcell, Oklahoma, the son of George Lamprecht and Josephine Fuerborn Lamprecht. He died Tuesday, February 26, 2002, in Chickasha. Hank married Dorothy Berry Lamprecht in Purcell on August 9, 1939, and they made their home in Chickasha. Hank was a member of the Civil Conservation Corps (CCC) from 1934 until 1939 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He began his career in the oil field as a rig builder in Cement, Oklahoma, in 1943 and retired from Mobil Oil Corporation in 1980 after 34 years of service. His oil field career took him from Chickasha to Great Bend, Kansas, and Guymon, Oklahoma. He was a volunteer Deputy Sheriff in Texas County, Oklahoma, and volunteered at many rodeos throughout Oklahoma and especially enjoyed working with horses. Hank was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and a member of Parkview Christian Church. He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, seven sisters, and one daughter, Sharon, in 1988. Survivors include his wife Dorothy, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Pam Lamprecht, of Denver, Colorado; one grandson, John Flick, of Wilmington, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Rachel Axton, of Norman, Oklahoma; one great granddaughter, Lauren Axton, of Norman, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Parkview Christian Church, P.O. Box 279, Chickasha, Oklahoma 73023.
