Lang Funeral service for Lillian B. Lang, 74, of Moore, formerly of Chickasha, is pending with the McRay Funeral Home. Lillian B. Lang was born on Nov. 13, 1926. She died on May 6, 2001, in Oklahoma City. ---------- The Chickasha Express-Star 9 May 2001 Lillian Bernice Lang Funeral service for Lillian Bernice Lang, age 74, of Moore, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2001, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J. Harold Hodges of the Southgate Baptist Church in Moore will officiate. Lillian B. Lang was born on November 13, 1926, the daughter of Wallace Romines and Myrtle Wood Romines, in Tabler, Oklahoma. She died on Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Oklahoma City. Bernice grew up in Chickasha and the surrounding area. She attended Hawkins, Middleberg, Friend and Amber Schools and later attended Cement High School. Bernice married Robert E. Lang on March 30, 1946. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Maryland. In 1946, they moved back to Chickasha. In later years, they moved to Oklahoma City where she lived much of her life. During her life, Bernice worked as a bookkeeper for many businesses. She was also a devoted mother and housewife. Bernice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rush Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and her husband, Robert, in September of 1997. Survivors include daughter, Carol Helms of Ellisville, Mississippi; son, Robert D. Lang of Edmond; step-son, Bob Simonds of Oklahoma City; grandson, Chris Faram of Ellisville, Mississippi; granddaughter, Nicole Conner of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandson, Jeff Faram of Moore; granddaughter, Michelle Thompson of Seminary, Mississippi; great grandsons, Cameron Thompson and Landon Thompson of Seminary, Mississippi; brothers, Kenneth Romines of Moore, Larry Romines of Oklahoma City, and Jack Romines of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Loretta Williams of Rush Springs.
