W. C. Longnecker, age 41, died at El Reno hospital from appendicitis on 
August 15. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church August 
16th, Rev. P. F. McWhorter officiating and under the auspices of the 
Masonic order, of which he was a member. He had been a resident of this 
community for several years and had many friends. He leaves a wife and 
two children to mourn his loss.
