Alice Mae Lents was born September 3, 1922, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Glenn and Birdie (Wilson) White, and died December 14, 2002, at her home in Ninnekah. Alice lived in Grady County all of her life. She and Bowman Lents were married August 31, 1940, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. They farmed and ranched in the Alex area. Alice was also an excellent seamstress and worked part-time at Nancy's Mercantique. She was a member of the Alex United Methodist Church. Alice was preceded in death by: 1 daughter, Judy Sharp; mother, Birdie Drennan; stepfather, Stonewall Drennan; father: Glenn White. Survivors include: husband, Bowman Lents of the home; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bill Witt of Alex, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Don Sharp of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Bowman Sharp - Donna Sharp of Pauls Valley, Donnie Sharp - Shannon Sharp of Pauls Valley, Adam Brown of Bradley, Oklahoma, Chris Witt of Alex; great grandsons: Coleton and Kaleb Sharp, Logan and Landon Sharp, Derek Chaffin, all of Pauls Valley; great granddaughter: Jade Sharp of Pauls Valley; 2 half-sisters: Jan Sands of Bethany, Oklahoma, Molly Sue Williamson of Alex. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
