Lenoir Services: Fri., April 26, 3 p.m. Memorial services will be held at Liberty Christian Center, 8801 So. H Street, Bakersfield, on Friday, April 26, 2002, 3:00 p.m. Kenneth Lenoir passed away, Tuesday, April 23rd. The Rev. David Joyner will officiate the services with military honors. Mr. Lenoir was born July 29, 1931 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He came to California with his family in 1936 during the Great Depression. Kenneth graduated from Kern County Union High School and Bakersfield College and served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. After the Air Force, he continued his education and became a teacher. He served as a teacher and principal at Beardsley School District retiring after 33 years. Kenneth was a member of Liberty Christian Center and was involved in several ministries, most recently as Prayer Group Coordinator. He was currently working with the Assemblies of God through the National Prayer Line. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Gerri Lenoir of Bakersfield; daughter, Victoria Ann Lenoir of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Kyle Wayne Houser and Kellie and Robert Burke of Bakersfield. Great- grandchildren included his namesake Kennadi Ann Burke and Joseph Franklin Houser.
