MOBLEY Funeral services for Anita J. Mobley, 67, are pending with the Ferguson Funeral Home. Born Oct. 4, 1936 and died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 in Norman. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star ANITA JANET MOBLEY Funeral services for Anita Janet Mobley, 67, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Anita Janet Mobley was born October 4, 1936, in Chickasha, the daughter of Elbert Joshua Chambers and Winnie Willie Johnston. She died Friday, January 30, 2004, in Norman. Janet grew up in the Chickasha area and attended Chickasha Public Schools. She married Garland Gray Mobley, and to this union her four sons were born. Janet had been a homemaker and a seamstress. She worked for several laundry and dry cleaner companies as a seamstress. She opened her own business, A. J. Alterations, in Chickasha in 1995. She was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters, Sue and Cheris, and one brother, Jimmy. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Jan Mobley, of Hempstead, Texas, Gary and Kathi Mobley, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Tim Mobley, of Gunnison, Colorado, and Dennis Mobley of Morris Plains, New Jersey; three sisters, Kathleen, Yvonne and Faye; two brothers, Neal and Jerry; sister-in-law, Eva; and two grandchildren. Cremation will follow the service and her remains will be interred in Virginia.
