William Henry McKee was born February 24, 1928, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, the son of Andres (Andy) and Liddie (Pearce) McKee, and died Monday, February 4, 2002, in Alex. Mr. McKee worked as a farmhand after he served in the U.S. Army. He worked in the oil field for 20 years and was a school bus driver until he retired. He and Lena Fae Fleming were married December 7, 1948. He was preceded in death by: parents 5 brothers: Marion, Clyde, Lenard, Orvil and Bill; 1 sister: Elzie Luther; 2 grandchildren: Kevin and Julie McKee. Survivors include: wife: Lena Fae McKee of the home; 2 sons: Kenneth McKee and wife, Brenda, of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Henry Lee McKee, of Alex, Oklahoma; 4 daughters: Henrietta McKee, of Watauga, Texas, Malena Wies and husband, Rodney, of Pt. Ludlow, Washington, Nancy Chapman and husband, Dan, of Glen Rose, Texas, Sarah Young, of San Antonio, Texas; 1 sister: Winnie Ellis of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 6 grandsons and 4 granddaughters Arrangements are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
