Rev. Harold Methany will officiate. William Lester Mackey was born September 30, 1918, in Geary, Oklahoma, to Emsley Thomas Mackey and Mary (Holt) Mackey, and died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, in Duncan Regional Hospital. He married Alice (Graham) Mackey in Geary, OK, January 6, 1940. He was a Marlow resident for 1 year, formerly of Elgin, OK, for 20 years and Geary, Ok where he attended school. Rev. Mackey was an ordained minister of the Church of God to which he dedicated over half century of service. He was a wonderfully devoted and loved family man, who touched countless lives with his compassion for others, and his love for the Lord. He is survived by his wife: Alice Mackey, Marlow, OK; 4 sons: Ron Mackey and wife Judy of Elgin, OK; Gary Mackey and wife Glenda of Marlow, OK; Darrell Mackey and wife Debbie of Marlow, OK; Tim Mackey and wife Carolyn of Marlow, OK; 4 brothers: Manuel Mackey of Collins, MO; David Mackey of Aztec, NM; Wayne Mackey of Elverta, CA; Douglas Mackey of Elverta, CA; 3 sisters: Beverly Wilson of Brookline, MO; Laura Gay of Whitehall, IL; Wanda Brogdon of North Platte, NE; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
