"McAfee Rites Set Wednesday R.D. McAfee, Route 3, died at 5 pm Monday in Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha. McAfee, 75, had suffered a heart attack on March 10 and had been ill since that time. He was born February 20, 1885 in Orrick, Missouri. A former resident of Kansas City, Missouir, he moved to Chickasha i 1917. He owned and operated the McAfee Tire Shop form 1929 to 1948 and was associated withe B.F. Goodwich Rubber Company for 28 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Orrick, a member of the 32nd Consistency in Guthrie and was member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Olivia McAfee of the home; a son, Clyde,; and a daughter, Mrs. Jack McRae, both of Chickasha; two sister, Miss Janie McAfee of Orrick, Missouri and Mrs. Carrie Williams,of Independence, Missouri; and a brother, Carter McAfee of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will br held at 2 pm, Wednesday, in the chapel of the Seviers' Chickasha Funeral Home with Dr. David Hause of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha.
