McADOO Funeral services for Sandra K. McAdoo, 60, of Chickasha, Okla., are pending with Ferguson Funeral Home. Sandra K. McAdoo was born April 15, 1943, in Pawnee City, Neb., and died on Monday, March 22, 2004, at her home in Chickasha. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 24 March 2004 SANDRA KAREN (JOHNSON) McADOO Loving wife, mother and grandmother left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2004, after a 3-year battle with cancer. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Elvis and Virginia Johnson on April 15, 1943. She attended school in Table Rock, Nebraska. After graduation, she joined the Army in 1963. She was stationed in Fort Ord, California. She moved to Wetumka, Oklahoma, with her family in 1976, where she resided until 1983 when she made her home in Chickasha. She worked for Grady Memorial Hospital for 18 years until she was medically retired in 2002. She is survived by her loving husband, Ivan; her son Nicky Ellsworth and wife, Ann, of Chickasha; daughter, Peggy Foster and husband, George, of Noble; daughter, Pam Foster and husband, Chip, of Holdenville. Sandra is also survived by her three stepsons, David McAdoo of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Ronald McAdoo and wife, Karla, of Chickasha, Kevin McAdoo and wife, Karen, of Chickasha, She is survived by 17 grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way; a sister, Mildred Beckman of Table Rock, Nebraska; sister, Lucy Freeman and husband, Rick, of Indianola, Iowa; a brother, Wayne Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Elvis, Jr., and one sister, Doris Beckman. Sandy was a special lady who will be missed, and our memories of her will be cherished forever.
