All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== MARY MOSCHETTI Published on January 4, 1997 The Santa Rosa Press Democrat Mary Moschetti, who loved to spend time with her grandchildren, died New Year's Day at a Santa Rosa hospital. She was 87. She was born in Chickasha, Okla., where her record in the 100-yard dash held up for many years. Moschetti was the lead soloist in church choirs in Chickasha and in Canyon City, Colo. She and her late husband, Alex, moved to Ukiah in 1944, where they owned the 101 Motel for 25 years. They retired when they sold the business. They were married 52 years. Moschetti was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Ukiah. She was vice president of the residents' club where she lived the past four years in Rohnert Park. She is survived by her son, Don Moschetti of Ukiah; daughter, Doris Morabito of Santa Rosa; brothers, Bert Friend of Stockton, Bill Friend of Torrance and Sid Friend of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Lou Ellen Friend of Redding; four grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Entombment will be at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Ukiah.
