McDaniel were held in the Moorewood Baptist Curch at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 1951 with Rev. Alvis Merrill, Clinton, and Rev. John Chandler, Moorewood, officiating. Burial was in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Casket bearers were H.M. Boal, Cloyd Cribbs, C.J. Lovelace, F.H. Nelson, Jake Stiece, and F.C. Boal. Mary Embree McDaniel was born October 23, 1899 at Grand Prairie, Texas; she departed this life in Hammon on March 19, 1951. She was married to Dawson C. McDaniel at Chickasha September 3, 1933. Mrs. McDaniel moved to a farm northeast of Hammon several years ago, and had lived there since that time. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are her husband, home address; three children, Damon C. Williams, Mrs. Harry Joe Gibbon, both of Oklahoma City and Naomi Williams, Hutchinson , Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Fox, Houston, Texas, Mrs. R.A. Scott, Hutchinson, Kansas; four brothers, J.W. Landruth, Houston, R.E., Vancouver, Washington, W.D., Laramie, Wyoming, and Lee J., Liberal, Kansasw, and four grandchildren.
