Eric was a loving husband, father, and son. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature and life. Eric was a member of the Smokey Mountain Grotto (caving society). He was preceded in death by his father Steve Masters; grandfathers, Charles Masters and Rev. Joe Miles. Survivors include his wife Crystal Hartsburg Masters of the home (formerly of Chickasha, OK), soon to be born daughter Alysia Sloan Masters; parents Sloan and Richard Miles; brother Jason Masters of California; sisters, Rachel Thomas and husband Karl, and Jenifer Miles; grandparents, Dewey and Betty Easton, Coe Masters, and Anna Jewel Miles; and a large extended family; father-in-law Gary Hartsburg of Chickasha, OK; mother-in-law Carolyn Bridge of Knoxville, TN. Eric also had a large extended family in Chickasha, OK, including great grandmothers-in-law, Dorothy Lambert and Elsie Hughes, grandparents-in-law Mike and Betty Jaques, aunts and uncles Stan and Sheila Jaques, Connie and Mark Jones, and Michelle and Joey Billington. Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel, Farragut, TN, with Rev. C. Mark Gooden officiating. Family and friends gathered at 11 a.m. (C.S.T.) Monday at Stone Cemetery in Celina, TN, for graveside services with Dr. Lane Fordham officiating. Eric's love for his fellow man was shown through the gift of life through organ donation.
