Omega Mosley was born September 17, 1934, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Frank Thomas Welchel and Mamie Brown Welchel. She died Saturday, March 8, 2003, in Chickasha. Omega grew up in Chickasha and attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and Chickasha Public Schools, where she graduated. She married Glen Dale Mosley on June 16, 1952, in Chickasha. Omega had previously been employed at several different places in Chickasha, including Luigi's Restaurant, Sentry Manufacturing, American Optical and Gabriel Ride. She was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church. Omega enjoyed working in her yard, shopping and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Her husband, G len, also preceded her in death on March 9, 1998. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Vickie Chaney of Chickasha, Darla and Mike Ellis of Chickasha; one son: Jimmy Mosley, of Chickasha; one sister, Lorene Webb of Chickasha; twelve grandchildren who knew her as Mi-Mi, and they are: Jamie and Joseph Foust, Brandi Bennett, Megan, Zachary, Ryan, Joshua, Ashton and Sara Mosley, Dustin Payne and fiancee Tonia Robertson, Austin Payne and Alli Ellis; five great grandchildren: Destinee, Jaycee Omega and Ty Foust, Lexis Hughes, and Jenna DiBennedetto along with many nieces and nephews.
