Rev. Rod Ozmun will officiate. Raymond Junior "Red" McLaughlin was born on Dec. 8, 1950, and died on Monday, June 4, 2001, in Oklahoma City. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. in the Gable Cemetery at Meeker. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. ============== The Chickasha Express-Star 8 June 2001 Raymond Junior "Red" McLaughlin Funeral service for Raymond Junior "Red" McLaughlin, age 50, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2001, at the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. Rev. Rod Ozmun will officiate. Raymond Junior "Red" McLaughlin was born on December 8, 1950, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Raymond McLaughlin and Phyllis Gouker McLaughlin. He died on Monday, June 4, 2001, in Oklahoma City. Raymond grew up in Meeker, Oklahoma. He moved to Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee High School. On July 3, 1970, he married Helen Yoder in Shawnee. They have been married from thirty years. Shortly after his marriage, he entered the United States Army and served for two years. Following his discharge from the Army, he moved back to Shawnee. In 1980, he moved to Ninnekah. Raymond worked as an automotive mechanic most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather. Survivors include his wife, Helen McLaughlin, of the home; son and his wife, Tim and Christine McLaughlin, of Chickasha; son and wife, Michael and Lena McLaughlin, of Chickasha; mother, Phyllis Anderson, of Shawnee; brother, Lonnie McLaughlin, of Shawnee; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Linda Morton; brother-in-law, Robert Yoder, of Shawnee; grandsons, Justin and Keldon McLaughlin, of Chickasha; and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Gable Cemetery at Meeker, Oklahoma. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
