[BATES] McCLELLAN Funeral services for Jean M. McClellan, 61, of Alex, Okla., will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at First Baptist Church of Chickasha, Okla. Jean McClellan was born July 29, 1943, and died on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004. Burial will be in Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 30 December 2004 JEAN McCLELLAN Funeral service for Jean McClellan, 61, of Alex, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Chickasha. Jean McClellan was born July 29, 1943, in Chickasha, the daughter of Willie and Alta E. (James) Bates, and died December 27, 2004, in Oklahoma City. Jean had lived in Grady County all of her life. She and Bobby McClellan were married July 29, 1960, in Ninnekah, Oklahoma. She graduated from Chickasha Beauty College and was a hairdresser for 40 years. She currently owned and operated Jean Hair Haven. Jean was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Alex. She was preceded in death by an infant baby, Gaylon Willie McClellan; parents; one sister, Yvonne Bearick. Survivors include her husband, Bobby McClellan, of the home; son and his wife, Waylon and Hope McClellan, of Norman, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Kaden and Landen McClellan, of Norman; two sisters, Edith Tate, of Ninnekah, and Mary Cox and husband, Ben, of Ninnekah; one brother, Billy R. Bates and wife, Shirley, of El Reno; man nieces and nephews.
