All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Boysdston Funeral Home - Lindsay OK Robert Cloyd 'Bob' McCann December 13, 1929-April 28, 2005 Robert (Bob) Cloyd McCann was born on December 13, 1929 to Robert Edward and Eunice Isbell (Gibson) McCann in Sheffield, Alabama. He passed away on April 28, 2005 at his home in Bradley, Oklahoma. Bob has lived in the Bradley area for the past 13 years. He married Claire Herford in Alice, Texas on December 31, 1980 after the loss of his first wife, Ada Jean Churchwell McCann on August 14, 1980. Bob was a member of the Bradley First Baptist Church, and a member of the VFW, American Legion, and G.O.B.M.S. (Greater Oklahoma Blue Grass Society). Bob was well known for his love of music. He played the mandolin and could be seen and heard at the Bradley Community Center. Besides music Bob enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ada Jean McCann, and one sister, Martha Louise (McCann) Wade. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Claire McCann,of Bradley, Oklahoma, his sons, Robert Cloyd McCann, Sam Jeffery McCann, Morris Edward McCann, and one daughter, Catherine Jean McCann Fox. He is also survived by his bonus children, Jon Antony Rodgers, Robert Aaron Rodgers, Raigan Michelle (Rodgers), Farr, David Wesley Rodgers, and his brothers and sisters, Ralph Almon McCann (Francis), Patran Charles McCann (Betty), Patricia Evangeline (McCann) Wilks (Wayne), twenty five grandchildren, and three great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Bob at the Bradley Baptist Church on Monday, May 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. The vocalists will include, E.J. Branch, Taylor Clark, and Arthur McCalib. Memorial services are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the McCann family online at www.boydstonfuneralhome.com.
