Randy Southerland officiating. He was born August 26, 1924, in Willis, OK, to James Richard and Bertha Duke Muchmore and died April 2, 2003, in Duncan. Mr. Muchmore was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Koch Oil Company retiring in 1986. He attended Sunday School at Immanuel Baptist Church. On February 4, 1948, he married Elsie Lavon Parker in Oakland, CA. Survivors include wife: Elsie of the home; sons: Carlos James Muchmore and his wife Becky of Oklahoma City, OK, Dennis Wayne Muchmore and his wife Debbie of Houston, TX; niece and nephew whom they raised as their own children, Tommy Smith and his wife Kay of Odessa, TX, and Beverly Walls of Oklahoma City; half brother: Doyle Muchmore of Washington; grandchildren: (4) Tara Muchmore and Blake Muchmore of Oklahoma City, Amanda Muchmore and Samantha Muchmore of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. He was preceded in death by a brother: Haskell "Jack" Muchmore. Memorial contributions may be made to Chisholm Trail Hospice, P. O.
