Mrs. Mary Catherine Matthews died at the home of her son, W. J. Moxley, 
Sunday, June 11, at 320 p. m.

She was born February 1, 1862 being 71 years, 4 months and 10 days old 
at the time of her departure.

In 1900 she united with the Baptist church of which she lived a true 
Christian life and a loving mother to her family. She leaves to mourn 
her death, 4 daughters and 2 sons.
