She was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Ninnekah, the daughter of Robery B. and Lena (Allen) Schoolfield. She died Wednesday, March 18, 1992, in Chickasha. Mrs Malicoat lived most of her life in Grady county in the Ninnekah and Alex areas. She and Hugh Malicoat were married Dec. 26, 1941, in Chickasha. He preceded her in death in 1982. Mrs Malicoat was also preceded in death by an infant son, and infant sister, and infant brother, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schoolfield. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Doug Henry of Chickasha; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Hugh Malicoat Jr. of Dibble, Charles and Linda Malicoat of Ruxh Springs; a sister, Dace Vaca of Sacramento, Calif.; four brothers, Nick Schoolfield of Locksburg, Ark., Paul Schoolfield of Bradley, Arnett Schoolfield of Amber; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Woods Memorial Cemetery, east of Cement, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
