Billy Dale Malone was born March 17, 1964, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died Sunday, May 7, 2006, in Oklahoma City. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========= © The Chickasha Express-Star Tuesday, 9 May 2006 Billy Dale Malone Funeral services for Billy Dale Malone, 42, of Chickasha will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with H.O. Robertson officiating. Billy Dale Malone was born March 17, 1964, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Bill Malone and Kathy [Phillips] Malone. He died Sunday, May 7, 2006, in Oklahoma City after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public Schools. He and Sharla [Wright] Malone were married on May 16, 1986, in Chickasha. They would have celebrated their 20th anniversary next week. Bill worked at Carlbuilt Bus Company, Delta Faucet, and in the Oilfield before opening his own oil and lube shop in 2001. Bill was a big guy with a big heart. He valued his family and friends, and always put them first. He loved spending time with family. He especially enjoyed the times when everyone would get together, cook out, play horseshoes or go fishing. He also loved going to Amon Carter Lake, in Bowie, Texas, with Tom, Jay, Delbert and Ed, where then they weren't fishing they were playing cards or dominoes. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by wife, Sharla, of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law: Edgar and Arika Green and Aaron Shaw; mother and father: Kathy and Tom Rogers; father and mother: Bill and Shirley Malone; sister and brother-in- law: Julie and Chris Danforth; nine other brothers and sisters; five grandchildren; father and mother-in-law: Ed and Joyce Wright; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and special friends: Kip Fowler and Scott Mitchell.
