Montgomery, 92, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2001, in Boise, Idaho. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, at 9 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd. She will be laid to rest between her husband Marvin and son Herman. Audra was born on July 1, 1909 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, one of eight children. She moved to Oregon with her parents Robert and Emma Needham. It was there she met and married Marvin P. Montgomery on August 16, 1926. They moved to California in 1934 and farmed in the Lamont area for 24 years. They later owned a grocery store and a hobby shop, before retiring to Idaho in 1969. They raised five children and had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary when Marvin passed away on October 6, 1976. Audra was known as mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her family dearly. Her greatest joys were family gatherings and cooking for everyone. In these last years, she enjoyed her birthdays, when family and friends came from all over the country to be with her. She made countless quilts and embroidered tea towels to give to those she loved. She had 150 tea towels embroidered and ready to give as Christmas gifts this year. Her home was covered with the latest pictures of all her grandchildren. She had confidence in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was looking forward to seeing those who had gone before her. Surviving Audra is one daughter and son-in-law, Nita and Jack Fellows of Boise, Idaho; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Virginia Montgomery of Grants Pass, Oregon, Bruce and Beverly Montgomery of Flower Mound, Texas, and Jim and Betty Montgomery of Boise, Idaho; brother, George Needham of Santa Rosa, CA; sister-in-law, Dona (Babe) Miller of Caruthers, CA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, all of whom she kept up with and loved. Audra was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents, four brothers and two sisters.
