He was known among his friends as Teddy and where ever you saw Teddy you would see that big, broad, sunny smile. Teddy was a boy that was loved by everyone, for he was obedient to his family and faithful to his friends. He had just completed the seventh grade in school and his greatest ambition was to grow up and be an educated man. He had made his home with his Grandpa and Grandma Manning, who live north of Verden, since he was four years old, and he was the pride and joy of their hearts, for he seemed to take the place of his father who had gone on before him. Teddy leaves to mourn his departure, his step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dodson, his brothers, Bryant and Shy Manning, one sister, Dorothy, Grandpa and Grandma Manning, Grandpa and Grandma Talkington, and a host of other relatives and friends.
