Mr. Manning, 73, of Medford, died March 20, 2005 at Rogue Valley Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 15, 1931 in Chickasha, OK, a son of Waurika and Hattie Manning. Mr. Manning served in the U.S, Army. He was a retired owner of a used car and smog shop. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1992 from Bakersfield, CA. On July 16, 2002 in Reno, NV, he married Myrna Ann Claflin who survives. In addition to his wife, Myrna of Medford, survivors include four children, Michelle Moore of Medford, Lonnie Manning of Eureka, CA, Dana Nelson of Columbus, MT and Chris Manning of Texas; two brothers, Harley Manning and Glenn Manning both of Medford; and five grandchildren.
