Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Sillin Funeral Home Chapel in Lyons, Kan. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery with local arrangements by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Manwarren was born in Raymond, Kan., and served in the Army. He moved to Amarillo in 1968 then moved to Chickasha, Okla., in 1981. In 1990, he retired after 38 years as sales manager for Farmland Industries. Mr. Manwarren was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission by the Amarillo City Commission for the 1976 to 1979 term. He was a member of the Pratt, Kan., Elks Lodge No. 1451. He married Fern JaNell Buckbee in 1949 at Lyons. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan JaNell Manwarren in 1961. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Dora Fern Manwarren of Hutchinson, Kan.; a sister, Margaret Hollinger of Hutchinson; and a brother, Dean Manwarren of Hot Springs, Ark.
