The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 23 September 2002 DOROTHY WINIFRED MYERS Graveside service for Dorothy Winifred Myers, age 81, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2002, at the Fairlawn Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Aynes will officiate. Dorothy was born Sept. 1, 1921, in Clay City, Illinois, to James Cunningham and Lender Whitlock Cunningham. She died Sept. 22, 2002, in Chickasha. Dorothy was raised in Chickasha. She married Fred Hurst in 1949, and they moved to Chelan, Washington. Following his death in 1952, she returned to Chickasha where she married Espey Myers. Dorothy lived the rest of her life in Chickasha. During this time, she worked at Cook's Laundry for over ten years. She also worked at Pet Milk, where she retired with over twenty years of service. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Survivors include: husband: Espey Myers of Chickasha; son: Kenneth Hurst of Chickasha; son: Terry Myers of Chickasha; sister: Lola May Aynes of Springfield, MO; sister: MayDell Cook of Chickasha; sister: Geraldine Cunningham of Chickasha; grandchildren: Allison Hurst, Arin Hurst and Ty Hurst; great grandchildren: Ella Nicole Hurst and Benjamin Luke Weisbrod; other loving relatives and friends. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
