Bertha Louies Morris was born June 18, 1925, and died on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, in Ninnekah. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 31 August 2003 BERTHA LOUIES MORRIS Graveside services for Bertha Louies Morris, 78, of Ninnekah, were held Saturday, August 30, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ninnekah Cemetery, with Sister Alice Wendling officiating. Bertha Louies Morris was born June 18, 1925, daughter of Louis Andrew Miller and Ollie Miller, in Flower Mound, OK. She died August 28, 2003, in Ninnekah. Bertha married Harold Eugene Morris in Stigler, Oklahoma, in 1968. She went to Wilburton, Oklahoma, in 1996, from Ninnekah, Oklahoma. She preached for many years in the Pentecostal Holiness Churches. Early in her life, she worked on her father's farm in Flower Mound, chopping cotton and hauling hay. Later she ran a gas station and cafe. She reared many children and enjoyed life to the fullest. Bertha was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, one sister, and children Ronnie Martin, Daryl Hill, and Daryl Morris. Survivors include her husband, of the home, Harold Eugene Morris; six daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Nelson Lindsay, of Minnesota, Betty and Bob Ramsey of Houston, Texas, Judy and Link Jarnagin, of Ninnekah, OK, Sharyon and Robert Ward of Mildrow, OK, Sheila and Billy Daniels and Ladonna and Ricky Daniels, all of Chickasha; four sons and daughters-in- law, Bobby and Carolyn Hill, of Watts, OK, J. D. Hill, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Danny Morris of Oklahoma City, OK, and Alden and Teresa Dobbs; thirty two grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
