He loved to collect guns, knives, and Marine Corps memorabilia. He loved to go hunting and fishing. Geary was a big family man, he loved the times that the family would have get-togethers. Geary is survived by his wife, Anna; sons, Will Gossage, Robert Merritt, and Geary Marritt, Jr., daughters Heather Cook and Jennifer Terrell, mother, Gene James, brothers, Kenny Merritt, Billy Merritt, Andy Couch, and David Young, sisters, Tammy Schoonover, Joyce Dickson, Peggy Young, and Debbie Merritt, step-mother, Bobby Merritt, grandkids, Sarah Cook, Megan Cook, Tyler Mansur, Billy Cook, Tristan Merritt, Keanin Merritt, Sandy Gossage, Aleah Terrell, and Harley Terrell. Geary is preceded in death by his father, Bill Merritt, uncle, John Merritt, and nephew, Robert Merritt. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel located at 120 South Broadway in Moore. Services are under the direction of the John M.
