Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Memorial Chapel Funeral Service in Noble. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Chapel Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery with a military honor guard present. ========= Norman Transcript 23 Jul 2003 Elton Lincoln Martin Elton Lincoln Martin, 54, of Noble died Monday, July 21, at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Chapel Funeral Chapel in Noble with the Rev. Deyrl Kastner officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman with military honors. Memorial Chapel Funeral Service is handling arrangements. Mr. Martin was born June 18, 1949, in Rush Springs, to Pearl and Gertie (Gilmore) Martin. He attended school in Chickasha and Norman. He graduated from Norman High School in 1966. He enlisted in the Army and served in Vietnam. He achieved the rank of sergeant and was honorably discharged Nov. 30, 1970. He was a roofer most of his working career. He was plant manager for Noble Materials when he died. He was a Baptist and a member of Noble First Baptist Church. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mozella Martin. Mr. Martin is survived by his sons, Ty Martin and wife, Jennifer, of Noble, Tim Martin of Noble and Bradley England of Florida; daughter, Alisha Duncan and husband, Earnest, of Washington; sisters, Lillie Jones of Amber, Barbara Barker of Norman and Sis Gilmore of Little Axe; grandchildren, Kylee Duncan, Abbigayle Martin and Tyler England; and many other family members and friends. Bearers will be Ty and Tim Martin, Earnest Duncan, Kelly Barker, Bill Swanson and John Blair.
