All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Laurel Land Memorial Park--Fort Worth TX Morton, Louise Walker Louise Walker Morton, 77, a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, passed peacefully to be with her Lord on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at a local hospital. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mike Davis of Conroe will be officiating along with Gary Blair of Springtown. Louise was born on April 10, 1928, in Chickasha, Okla., to Curtis and Lillie Mae Walker. She was retired from General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin). Her greatest love was her family. She loved to sew and quilt, working with ABC Baby quilts until her health forced her to quit. Mrs. Morton was a member of the First Baptist Church of White Settlement. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and doctors at Harris Methodist and, especially, to the All Saints Hospice Center for their compassion and loving care in her last hours. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Lillie Mae Walker; husband, E.J. Wood Jr.; and brother, Travis L. Walker. Survivors: Son, Jerry Wood and wife, Virginia; daughter, Barbara Burnett and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Jeffrey Burnett, Jake Burnett and wife, Nadine, Josh Wood and Nathan Wood; great-grandchildren, Zaine and Megan Burnett; brother, John Walker; several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and friends.
