George retired from Acco Feeds after 37 years and moved from OKC to Tuttle. George was a Charter Member and Sunday School teacher for many years at Rancho Village Baptist Church. He is a current member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle. George Attended Oklahoma Baptist University and was a veteran of World War II, receiving the purple heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lahoma Marlow of Tuttle; 2 daughters, Sheryle Marlow of OKC, and Linda Waul of Drumright; son-in-law, Phil Waul of Drumright and grandson Philip Lynn Waul, Jr. of Ketchem, OK; 2 sisters, Margaret Watson of OKC and Thelma Craig of OKC and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Tuttle. The family would appreciate memorials to Good Shepherd Hospice or the First Baptist Church of Tuttle in lieu of flowers. Published in the Oklahoman on 6/24/2002
