Nye Forrest A. Nye, age 83, of Bradley, OK, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2002, at the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born November 17, 1918 in Ada, OK, to Harvey Samuel Tollison and Marion Noel Roberson Tollison. Forrest moved to Bradley from Ada in 1928 with her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bradley and a secretary of the Bradley Cemetery Board for ten years. She mapped the Bradley Cemetery and set up the website and had cemetery history published. Forrest was a homemaker, having retired from the Bradley Public School System in 1980; she had also worked for Dennis Cafe in Bradley for years. She is survived by husband, Jack Nye of the home; they were married on April 27, 1935 in Alex, OK, by Judge Chambers. Children, Harvey Newton Nye of Norman, OK; Betty J. Riggle of Moore, OK; Billy Ray Nye of Foster, OK; Mary Jon Mantooth of Perryton, TX; Alfred Nye of Cleveland, OK; Ronnie Nye of Woodward, OK; Sharon K. Russell of McAlester, OK; Phyllis A. Davis of Elk City, OK; and Beverly A. Sloan of Amber, OK; sister: Margie Farmer of Alex, OK; brother-in- law: Bill Palmer of Alex, OK; brother: Bunyan E. Tollison of Syre, OK; nineteen grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandson. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by both parents; two sons, Gerald Dean Nye and Jackie Ray Nye; sister: Edna Earl Tollison Palmer; brothers: Virgil Tollison, James Tollison and Harvey Tollison Jr.; grandson, David Gene Beets; granddaughter-in-law, Christina Nye; and great granddaughters: Nicolette Nye and Emily Nye. Services will be held Monday July 22, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bradley, OK, with Rev. Cletis Lee officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Bradley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Mitchusson, Jay Mann, Fred Dennis, Bill Riley, Buddy Baker, E.J. Branch and Bob Badertscher. Arrangements are with the B.G.
