Nightingale Funeral service for Ada J. Nightingale, 75, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at the Plainview Mennonite Church. Ada J. Nightingale was born June 14, 1926 in Halstead, Kansas the daughter of Jacob T. and Nettie (Unruh) Koehn and died Saturday, March 30, 2002 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She and Lavern Nightingale were married April 30, 1950 in Halstead, Kansas. They came to Oklahoma in 1950 and have lived here since that time. Mrs. Nightingale was a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church. She was preceded in death by: Parents and three brothers. Survivors include: Husband: Lavern Nightingale of the home; 2 daughters: Cheryl Nightingale; Elaine Nightingale both of the home; three sons and their wives: Galen and Linda Nightingale of DeRidder, Louisiana; Orie and Myrna Nightingale of Farwell, Texas; Donald and Joanne Nightingale of Chickasha, Oklahoma; three brothers and their wives: Menno and Edna Koehn of Halstead, Kansas; Allen and Osie Koehn of Halstead, Kansas; Harley and Alice Koehn if Halstead, Kansas; and two sisters and their husbands: Eileen and J. Loyd Dyck of DeRidder, Louisiana; and Vera and Merle Schmidt of Dumas, Arkansas; and 6 grandchildren. Interment will be in the Plainview Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
