::Westlawn Memorial Park--Borger TX

A.J. Newell

BORGER - A.J. Newell, 78, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Westlawn Memorial 
Park with the Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor of First Assembly of God, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of 
Borger.

Mr. Newell was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Rush Springs, Okla. He was 
foreman for the Borger Refuse Department for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Billie; a son, Randy Newell of Borger; 
two daughters, Patsy Newell Hubbard and Teresa Newell, both of 
Borger; two sisters, Imogene Fields of Anadarko, Okla., and Geraldine 
LaBonte of Gardner, Mass.; three grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.
