Cobb Cemetery with Ron Caudill officiating. Vonceil Harness Osborne was born August 19, 1922 in Oswalt, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Carroll Harness and Lucy Venable, and died September 19, 2000 in Bethany, Oklahoma. She grew up in Mountain View. She met and married Lawly Osborne in October, 1941, and they moved to Fletcher. They raised their children there. She loved to travel. She enjoyed cooking and reading and also being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 brothers, Louis Harness, Alex Harness, Arlin Harness and James Harness, 1 sister, Ethel Carter. Survivors include: 2 sons: Jonnie Osborne & wife Erika of Chickasha, Gary Osborne of Oklahoma City; 1 daughter: Lisa Osborne of Oklahoma City; 2 grandchildren: Jonnie Osborne & wife Janice of Ninnekah, Christine Osborne of Chickasha; 5 great grandchildren: Coty Osborne, James Osborne, Destani Buchanan, Jonnie Osborne and Shawnie Osborne; 2 sisters: Flora Harness and Flossie McCray; 1 Brother: Leon Harness, and many nieces and nephews. Interment is the Ft. Cobb Cemetery under the direction of Ft. Cobb Funeral Home.
