Glenda Jean O'Rear was born October 11, 1957, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Glenn Alton and Bonnie Jean [TURNER] Burnett, and died Wednesday, October 9, 2002, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Glenda graduated from Verden High School. She moved to Davenport, Iowa, and then to Hayward, California. She lived in Manteca, California, for 10 years before moving to San Leandro, California, where she lived for 5 years, before moving to Tracy, California. She moved back to Oklahoma 4 months ago. She and Jay O'Rear were married July 1, 1976, in Marlow, Oklahoma. Glenda was a member of the Lupus Foundation. She was preceded in death by father, Glenn Alton Burnett. Survivors include: Husband, Jay O'Rear, of Hayward, California; 1 daughter and son-in-law, April and Chuck Mayfield of San Lorenzo, California; 1 son, Jason O'Rear of Norman, Oklahoma; mother, Bonnie Jean Burnett of Chickasha; 3 brothers: Orvil Burnett of Chickasha, Todd Burnett and wife, Robin, of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Joey Burnett and wife, Angie, of Burleson, Texas; 1 sister, Patty Mayhugh and husband, James, of Chickasha; nieces and nephews: Debbie McDonald, Lori Burnett, Chris and Cole Burnett, Stormy Burnett, Brandon, Adam and Savannah Burnett, Shayla Mayhugh and Jacob Mayhugh, Bethany O'Rear and Jordan O'Rear, Sammy Tipton, Amy Walton, Daryl Henry, Cari Crain, Poogie Reach, Deanna Womack.
