Patty Graveside services for Leon D. Patty, 76, will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2001 at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. Mr. Patty died Tuesday, May 1, 2001 in Norman. He was born January 18, 1925, to Walter and Hallie (Hanson) Patty in Chickasha. Mr. Patty was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Navy. He lived in Chickasha for 60 years. Mr. Patty worked for Maramount for 13 years retiring in 1986. He also retired from the University of Oklahoma where he worked from 1987 to 1997. His parents and a stepdaughter, Ellie, preceded Mr. Patty in death. He is survived by his wife Bertha, of the home; a daughter, Carolyn and her husband David, of Chickasha; one son, Curtis and his wife Donna, of Russelville, Arkansas; two stepsons, Garry Warford and his wife Karol, of Houston, Texas, Bobby Warford and his wife Diane, of Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Gene Patty and his wife Ruth, of Taylor, Michigan; half sister, Peggy Baker of Yukon; ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
