G. Archer, was born October 31, 1896 in Cleveland county, Oklahoma. She departed this life March 26, 1934, being 37 years, 4 months, and 25 days of age. She was converted at the age of 15 years and joined the Baptist church, having lived a Christian life, being a loyal wife and a loving mother. She was married to Homer Wagstaff at Standford, Oklahoma, to this union two children were born. Later she married Charlie Powell at Ada, Oklahoma, and to this union two children were born. She leaves to mourn her departure her children, Ruth, Fred, George, and Charlie, Jr., her husband, mother and father, 4 brothers, Emmet, Leonard, George, and James and a host of other relatives and friends. Her brother, Earnest has preceded her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Powel lived on the W. J. Lowe farm 2 miles north of town. The funeral service was held at the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 230 o'clock with Rev. N. T. Peak, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. Submitted by Sandi Carter
