EDNA PALMORE SERVICES HELD SUNDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Palmore were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. C. W. Taylor officiated and Rev. Garland Anderson assisted him. Music for the services was furnished by Mrs. J. N. Kern, Mrs. Donald Brown, Mrs. C. W. Hamill and Mrs. Harry Dodson. They sang "God Will Take Care of You," "In The Garden" and "Where We’ll Never Grow Old." Mrs. I. H. Bilbrey was at the piano. Casket bearers were Cecil Nicholas, J. N. Kern, Roy Nicholas, Debs Patterson, Jeff Satterwhite and Kenzel Protzman. Interment was in the Verden Cemetery with the Hansen Funeral Home in charge. Edna Lucinda Dudley was born December 25, 1873 at Centralia, Missouri and died at 11:06 a.m., January 14, 1949 at her home at the age of 75 years, and 19 days. She was married to William T. Palmore at Centralia, Missouri in 1891. They moved from Missouri to El Reno in 1900 and then to a farm northwest of Verden in 1902 where they lived until his death in 1946. She moved to town where she had since lived. One son preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christian Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
