The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 16 July 2002 BERTHA LEA PINKSTON Funeral service for Bertha Lea Pinkston, 96, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Bertha Lea Pinkston was born September 9, 1905, in Sivells Bend, Cook County, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Franklin and Mary Ann (Cooper) Ford, and she died July 14, 2002, in Chickasha. Bertha lived around the Chickasha area most of her life. She married O. L. Oxford, and he preceded her in death. She married Hubert M. Shrader, and he also preceded her in death. She later married Luther Pinkston, and he preceded her in death. She attended the First Assembly of God Church. Bertha was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons, Herchel Oxford and Lawrence Oxford. Survivors include: 3 sons; Henry M. Shrader, of Asheboro, North Carolina, Hubert H. Shrader, of Yukon, Oklahoma, Earnest R. Shrader, of Bentonville, Arkansas; 4 daughters: Phyllis McLemore, of Yukon, Oklahoma, Mary Jo Bennett, of Bakersfield, California, Geneva Camp, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Zada Eakes, of Newalla, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; 3 special friends: Edith Linville, Marie Loveless and Edna Blevins. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
