Parks was born Oct. 19, 1931, and died on Monday, March 26, 2001. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ==================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 29 March 2001 Mildred Marie Parks Funeral service for Mildred Marie Parks, 69, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2001, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Mildred Marie Parks was born October 19, 1931, in Lefors, Texas, and died Monday, March 26, 2001, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mildred married Willie Parks on May 10, 1945, in Lefors, Texas. After their marriage, they resided in several places in Texas, Oklahoma and Oregon before returning to Oklahoma in 1976. Mildred worked for S.H.A.R.E. from 1988-1992, before diabetes took her eyesight. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Parks in 1984, parents and 1 brother. Survivors include: five children and their spouses: Loretta Reynolds and husband Keith, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Billy Parks and wife Janice, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Connie Parks and fianceˇ Jimmy Tryon, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Wanda Darity and husband Gerald, of Wister, Oklahoma, James Parks and wife Betty, of Alamogordo, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren: Melissa Hill and husband Ben, Brian Reynolds, David Raper, Eric Barnes, Michael Barnes and wife Shanna, all of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Bridgett Reams and husband Johnny, of Plumerville, Arkansas, Jonathan and Jennifer Parks of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Jaimie Allan and husband David, of Yukon, Oklahoma; 3 great grandchildren: Dallas Wayne Reams of Plumerville, Arkansas, Cheyenne Barnes of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Dowell Barnes of Ada, Oklahoma; 2 very special cousins: Boots Stone and husband James, of Amarillo, Texas, Butch Heathon and wife Betty, of Border, Texas; 6 sisters and 2 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
