The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 July 2002 TULA ANN NEWBERRY PARISH Funeral service for Tula Ann Newberry Parish, 67, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Tula Ann Newberry Parish was born December 12, 1934, in Amber, Oklahoma, the daughter of Isaac N. and Viola (Clark) Newberry, and died July 10, 2002, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Tula graduated from Middleberg High School in 1954. She lived in Grady County all of her life. She and Dan Parish were married June 30, 1956, in per parents' home in rural Amber, Oklahoma. Tula was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church and a member of the Lucile FCE. She was preceded in death by: Her grandparents, parents, and 1 sister: Darlene Lacy. Survivors include: Husband: Dan Parish, of the home; 2 daughters: Patty Scott and husband, Kevin, of Springfield, Missouri, Joyce Parish, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 sister: Lorene Jobe and husband, Raymond, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren: Ashley Scott and Daniel Scott, of Springfield, Missouri. Interment will be in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Falls Creek at Sharon Baptist Church.
