All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Rush Springs Gazette Thursday Sept 30, 1971 Funeral Services for Arthur Parish were held here Monday Funeral services for Benjamin Arthur Parish, 76, were held Monday Sept 27 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Callaway-smith Funeral home in Rush Springs. Cliff Werhan, minister of Rush Springs Church of Christ, officiated. Parish was born Nov 10, 1894 in Dew, Texas and died at 12:30 p.m. Sept 25th in the Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha. He moved to Rush Springs in 1906, living here for 20 years and then moved to Carson City, Nev. He moved back here about two years ago. He was a retired electrician and a veteran of World War I Pallbearers were Elton Teel, Warren Morris, Glen Jones, Karl Scruggs, Rufus Dorman and C.C. Jinks. Burial was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Calloway- Smith Funeral Home. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Breacheen of Norman, and Mrs. Joan Saulsberry of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Eunice Foster, Mrs. Verd Foster and Mrs. Raymond Murray all of Rush Springs. Three Brothers, Finley of Rush Springs, Rufus of Carnegie, and J.
